I am colored just as much as most people here in Los Angeles, California are. Any where i go, i see colored people, but obviously i see whites and asians too. I was born here in Los Angeles, California, but i sometimes feel like i wasn't suppose to live here or be around the area i live in. I look around and see many whites roaming around. I really have no problem with that, as i think we are all the same. I really see no difference between my family, me, and other people out there.
We all think the same, act the same, walk the same, breath the same, and taste the same in our own ways. I say everyone is the same because everybody born in Los Angeles, California can be very successful in everyday life. I'm 100% sure anybody can be successful in life, there can't be a possible where an American  will not succeed in life while being born in Los Angeles, California. Being colored is no different  than being white. It's like saying tall people and short people are different, obviously their height is different but the way they act isn't.
We all share the same feelings, like Zora Neale Hurston said,"At certain times i have no race, I am me." I can compare and relate to her because when i walk down the street, i feel like there is no race, just color. I just see a black and white world. I can also relate to when she says," I feel like a brown bag of miscellany propped against a wall, against a wall in company with other bags, white, red, and yellow." I feel like this can relate to me in many ways because whites and yellows is all i see here. In every school I've been to, i always saw black, whites, and asians. No matter what school it is in Los Angeles, you will always see those types in schools, jobs, and pretty much everywhere else.
Whites see blacks as lower class people that roam around the streets not knowing what they are doing. They think blacks are unsuccessful people because of their skin color, but skin color means nothing, just where you're from. Many years back, being black wasn't always easy. They weren't allowed in schools because of their color. They weren't able to vote, or look for a job either. They were slaves, something nobody would ever want to be. Until everything changed, everybody became equal and everything was good. Not everything was good whether it seemed like it.
Black people still get picked on today, whether they are homeless or not. White people still think black people are troublemakers, scumbags, but not every black person is the same. I've seen successful black people, like our president Obama, so that shows pretty much anybody can be very successful, successful enough to even be president.

Winter Break Essay

I had fun in winter break. I slept alot, ate alot, and played lots of video-games.I didn't really go anywhere, i just stayed home, sleeping late was all I did. I had such a great time doing nothing at all.

Before Christmas I went shopping for presents to give to my family. I then wrapped them up and put them under the tree until Christmas day came. Then I got them something for new yearsI also received a couple good gifts from all of them too.

I then started buying school supplies to start a fresh new semester of junior year. Starting school sucks because you got to wake up early everyday of the week, walk to 6 different classes everyday, and then go home and do work for 6 different classes, again.
